LYN ASKADER mkIV ACTDMR (Advanced Compact Tactical Designated Marksman Rifle)

A 1-wk quick build for one of the weekly contests run by the "Create with Clint" DISCORD channel.

My goal was to create an electrically fired rifle, rather than mechanically fired one, allowing for instant trigger response and fixing one of the biggest issues with the majority of bullpup rifles... trigger slop, caused by the need to use multiple linkage points to all rifle to function.

Thus was born the LYN ASKVADER mkIV, a modular, ambidextrous, piston-driven, electric-trigger, 5.56 NATO bullpup DMR. Using a generic, deans-connector, quick-swap 7.4v lipo battery for the electronic trigger system, the ASKVADER can be tweaked to have a trigger pull between 2.5 - 8.5 lbs, while maintaining the instantaneous trigger breakpoint and firing of the round, which uses a solid rod to connect the trigger and firing housings, instead of wire, significantly improving firing reliability, even in wet conditions, and operational survivability of the rifle, by removing the overly complex trigger linkage system that most bullpups must rely on.
